Poster FAQ

When should I plan to arrive to set up my poster?

Poster Presenters are asked to arrive at Arena Stage (1101 Sixth Street, SW, Washington, DC 20024) at 1:00pm on May 19th, 2015. As a Poster Presenter plan to check in at Registration to get your conference materials and for further directions (where to set up your poster, pick up push pins etc.).  There will be a Speakers Reception from 1:00pm-2:00pm on May 19th, 2015. Poster Presenters are encouraged to attend the Speakers Reception after hanging their posters and before attending the Research Keynote. Poster Presenters are encouraged to stand by their posters as people arrive for the Research Keynote.

How long is the poster session?

In additon to being by their posters as the conference opens on May 19th (1:45pm-2:00pm). Poster Presenters are encouraged to stand by their posters in the morning as people settle in for coffee (8:00am-9:00am on May 20th) and during the lunch break (12:00pm-1:15pm on May 20th) as well as during breaks as they see fit.  Poster Presenters will be free to attend all sessions during the course of the day.

Where will the posters be displayed?

Each poster will be mounted with tacks on a fabric wall in the lobby of Arena Stage. The lobby will be a well trafficked space as people will pass through it on their way to and from sessions and it will be home to our catering team (where attendees will pick up their boxed lunches, coffee, etc.). The posters will also be posted on the NCCA website link to come.
