At the 2014 convening, the National Center for Creative Aging (NCCA) brought together more than 500 national and international experts from 26 states and five additional countries (including; Australia, Canada, Japan, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom) in arts, aging, and health for an exchange of research, practice, and policy. NCCA's 2015 convening will host a second national leadership exchange and conference during Older Americans Month.  NCCA is in partnership with the 2015 White House Conference on Aging (WHCoA) Initiative and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to host a mini-conference on creative aging that will precede the Leadership Exchange and Conference, and a Professional Development Institute. NCCA is additionally orchestrating a WHCoA Creativity and Aging Legistaltive Breakfast and Hill visit on Capital Hill in Washington, DC. The National Leadership Exchange and Conference is a keystone in the framework for the field of creativity and aging.  As the primary convening for this rapidly growing field, the 2014 conference served 395 attendees through the main conference day.  Pre- and post-conferences served 173 professionals in the field—all returning home with best practice research and programming to transform organizations across the country and around the world.
