Enjoy this sparkling evening that melds performance and audience participation into a seamless event. The KAIROS ALIVE! Community Dance Hall creates a unique participatory experience for all ages and abilities. Participants are invited to be artistic sources so they too become performers through dancing, telling stories, and singing. Great fun for all ages!

This spirited event brings together people across the lifespan to take part in a dance, with music performed live by professional musicians. A living history performance featuring stories, music, and dance traditions from barn dances and celebrations, the Dance Hall is an opportunity for the whole community to share in joyful participation, health education, and development of personal and collective wellbeing.

No experience necessary and all abilities welcomed!

KAIROS alive! Community Dance Hall is a re-imaging of the dance hall as the intersection of artistic, physical, and social involvement. Older adults are at the center of this performing art activity. The KAIROS ALIVE! Community Dance Hall melds performance and audience participation into a seamless event that integrates the audience in-the-round with dancers, actors, and musicians at the center performing for and with their audience. KAIROS alive! artists and musicians create a unique participatory performing arts experience for all ages. Participants are invited to be artistic sources so they too become performers, dancing, telling stories, singing, and helping to create a unique experience.
